BEAUTIFUL BIBLE VERSE:
Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
Proverbs 4:23 (NIV)
The state of your heart plays a great role in the outcomes of your life and the increase that you desire and all other desires.
From the parable of the sower that The Lord Jesus gave us in Mathew 13:3-23, we can see that the state of one’s heart is very important.
From the parable of the sower let me quickly point out the things that can affect the state of one’s heart.
- Lack of understanding
- Taking offence when trials come
- The cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches.
How do you ensure that your heart is in a good state so that you can see the desired results in your life?
- Allow The Holy Spirit to give you understanding of The Word
- Do not take offence when trials come. When trials come, do not say things like, why is this happening to me. Do not start blaming God or blaming your self or blaming people. Instead, you are to stick to The Word and keep trusting God.
- Do not allow the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches into your heart. Instead, set your heart on God and the things above. Know that all things are yours already.
As you do the above, The Word of God will start producing great results in your life.
Examine now the state of your heart and then make changes as stated above.
Practice this repeatedly until it becomes a part of you.
I pray for The Holy Spirit to open your mind to understand this truth.
