Many years ago as a young Christian brother being born again and in Church for few months, I was invited by a brother in the same Church to go pray for someone who was afflicted with madness in his compound.
It was scary when I heard that the person was afflicted with madness, but the brother pressured me to go with him.
When we got there, the brother said I should do the prayer.
I did not know what to do or how to pray.
But suddenly The Holy Spirit impressed upon my heart to tell the man that was afflicted with madness to look into my eyes as I was praying.
After a little pause in thoughts, I had to do what The Holy Spirit instructed me to do.
So I asked the man who was afflicted with madness to look into my eyes. He kept looking away but the moment his eyes looked straight into my eyes, he vomited. And immediately he vomited, he became normal. He was delivered and he started talking and behaving normally.
The Sunday of that week, he and his entire family came to church and testified and the whole Church rejoiced and gave Glory to God.
This memory has remained so fresh in my heart.
The lesson I learnt is that the moment you become born again, you become a vessel that God can use to save and deliver others. All you have to do is to follow the instructions of The Holy Spirit.
